James and Garrett,
I’ve really enjoyed these longer format sit downs. This one has mimicked my own journey and it was interesting to hear my thoughts and experience ( drinking now for 2 -3 years) reflected here. I think the progression from samples to cakes to a more narrow focus is natural. I started with the young samples and have settled into some simple ripes for drinking with the wife and mid-aged teas that stretch the budget ( while watching for hidden gems). I hope Garrett makes it back for another episode and best of luck with the move if it hasn’t happened yet.
Thanks Joe. Really appreciate the feedback. These episodes are also some of my favorites as it’s an opportunity to explore topics that are especially interesting to me that don’t revolve around reviewing a tea.
Thanks for sharing about your own tea habits and tea journey. It sounds like you’ve had a pretty similar progression to both of us.
Garrett has family based in Seattle, so hopefully we’ll be able to get together now and then and film.
Cheers!
-James
Aw man, y’all are getting too old on us all. I think the answer is less introspection, and more tea!
Hahaha :). Don’t worry, more tea drinking will come soon.
Awesome!! This episode was great though I must say, and I really did appreciate the advice and perspective.
Thanks Jimmy! Will keep both types of episodes coming :).
