Much appreciated episode James. The only aged oolong I have so far had was quite horrid—extremely tart, presumably from extensive lactic fermentation, with a badly burnt taste, probably from gross over roasting to try and save it. It was completely undrinkable. I have since been reluctant to try another blind. I am looking forward to having this tea, knowing that it is quality example of the type.
I’ve never tried an aged oolong but have just ordered some of this based on your review. Excited to try it!
