I really appreciated this video, perhaps more than any video of yours I’ve seen in awhile. Thank you for the in depth answers to all of the questions… but especially mine! 🙂 I’ve really been curious about the background and vetting process for awhile now, this answer made me particularly willing to check out some of your recommended favorites!
Yes, I really enjoyed this episode, too! I found it very interesting. I’m going to throw in my comments from the peanut gallery:
– Grams – I think that one student is drinking way too much tea… no wonder he can’t sleep. I must be a light weight because I usually only drink 5 grams per day. I also try to stop by 2-3 pm for sleep reasons.
– Water – living in Virginia, I need to use a Brita to clean up the taste of the water.

– Being kind – perhaps it is a cultural thing, but I believe I can always tell if one of you is not fond of a tea. I think you do a wonderful job of balancing comments and saying stuff like “this isn’t a tea I would regularly drink…”
– Attention to the body – I agree. Since drinking tea I also am more aware of how food and tea affects me. I haven’t done it in a while, but if I go crazy and drink too much tea late so I can’t sleep, I use the Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), to remove the caffeine from my system (or at least let me sleep). When I’m tapping I’ll make the problem statement something like “too much caffeine” or “have too much caffeine coursing thru my veins.” It has worked every time I’ve tried it so far. There should be a lot of info on the web about EFT if someone wants to learn it.
