I purchased one of their Jianshui 70ml teapots and, it is beyond beautiful.

Nice! I saw one of their small 70ml teapots. Very pretty. What are you going to be seasoning it with?

      Cheers!

It would be best reserved for a aged puerh that is beyond expensive.

I have a kyusu with a slightly smaller volume and use it to taste fannings or test small samples from larger cakes.

We’re so glad you got that one!

    Very interesting video, lads.

But, as I mentioned last time the Crimson Lotus team were on, I would like to hear more from the women. (As a native of Yunnan, I am sure she has lots to say about puer.)

Thanks Peter. Good feedback, I think next time we have them on for a session we’ll have some sort of hard plan to involve Lamu a bit more.

      Cheers!

We read your comment from the last time we were on. English isn’t Lamu’s native language and she gets a little nervous. The next episode that just went up has her talking a little bit more.

First off, great video! I’ve been drinking tea for about a year, primarily ripe puerh and darker oolongs; this website has quickly become my go-to resource for knowledge, especially when my resident tea expert (my brother) doesn’t know something.
With that being said, I would love to see you guys do some white tea-related content. White tea is a genre with which I have little experience, but find fascinating, and the way in which you guys present tea learning I find more approachable than any other tea blog.
Keep up the great work, you guys are seriously doing something awesome for us unfortunate Americans, especially in the northeast where tea is less prominent.
Looking forward to more great videos,
    Zach

      Hi Zach,

Thanks for the comment and the kind words! I’m glad you’re finding the content to be valuable. We have some white tea video content in the pipeline but ended up getting momentarily distracted with pu’erh! We’ll be sure to refocus and get to some of it soon. It will probably similar to the short green tea series we did last month.

Let us know if there’s anything you’d like to learn about specifically.

      Cheers!

Awesome. Good luck Marco. I’m a big fan of pots around that size. Crimson Lotus are great people with some very nice product! Hope you enjoy.
