This tea did take a bit of getting used to, but I ended up burning through a cake in no time at all. Very versatile and can take a beating. I find that the boozy sweetness of earlier steeps gives room to maltiness and bass as the steep times get longer, changing just in time to not get boring. If you want to extend the session, boiling the leaves for 10 minutes after, say, 8 or 9 steeps results in a nice dark brew you can shake hands with.
Hope this stays available, it’s a great winter time tea.
