Peacock series was in 2005, 2006, and 2008, with Mengsong, Menghai, Bulang, Nannuo, and Bada. Mengsong and Bulang were the stars of the ’05, ’06, and Menghai the ’08, but the ’08s aren’t that good. Plenty of other Peacocks in Dayi’s history, but they are unrelated.
This tea, as MarshalN noted at the time, was always relatively expensive. And very bitter and astringent when young!
Thanks for the notes shah. Quite interesting! That relatively expensive in 2008 I’m sure would look rather nice with our 2014-2016 price lense.
